Psychosocial Risk Management

We help organisations understand their obligations, assess workplace risks, complete incident investigations and implement practical solutions that protect their people and demonstrate compliance with psychosocial legislation. Management plans, risk assessment tools, and training for psychosocial hazard compliance. Delivered with WorkWell Safety (Owned and operated by Elliott Safety Group).

What Is Psychosocial Risk Management?

Psychosocial risk management identifies and controls workplace factors that harm your workers' psychological health—fatigue, bullying, work pressure, harassment, isolation, and traumatic exposure. Through our partnership with WorkWell Safety, Elliott Safety provides the documented systems construction companies need to meet Victorian regulatory requirements.

Victoria's Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025, effective from 1 December 2025, require explicit identification and control of psychosocial hazards. You need documented management plans, risk assessment tools, and incident frameworks—not just good intentions.

What You Get:

  • Health & Wellbeing Management Plan - Documented policies and procedures for psychosocial hazard management
  • Company Risk Assessment Tool - Practical assessment framework for identifying psychosocial hazards
  • Incident/Complaint Management Framework - Reporting forms and escalation procedures
  • Performance Management Templates - Employee warning letters and improvement plans aligned with Fair Work requirements
  • Workplace Posters - Helplines and inappropriate workplace behaviour awareness materials
  • Anonymous Employee Survey - Company-wide culture assessment with detailed analysis report

This service is delivered through our partnership with WorkWell Safety, specialists in workplace mental health compliance.

Health & Wellbeing Package

Through our partnership with WorkWell Safety, you receive a comprehensive documentation package tailored to your organisation:

  • Health & Wellbeing Management Plan: Documented policies and procedures meeting Victorian regulatory requirements
  • Company Risk Assessment Tool: Practical framework for identifying and assessing psychosocial hazards in your workplace
  • Incident/Complaint Management Framework: Reporting forms and escalation procedures for psychosocial issues
  • Performance Management Templates: Employee warning letters and improvement plans aligned with Fair Work Australia requirements
  • Workplace Posters: Helpline information and inappropriate workplace behaviour awareness materials

These aren't generic templates—they're practical documents designed for real workplace implementation.

02

Anonymous Employee Survey

Understand your current organisational culture before implementing controls:

  • Company-wide anonymous survey: Gauge employee perceptions of workplace culture, hazards, and wellbeing
  • Detailed analysis report: Our team provides a comprehensive report identifying key risk areas and priorities
  • Baseline measurement: Establish benchmarks to measure improvement over time
  • Confidential process: Anonymous responses encourage honest feedback from your workforce

Victorian regulations require you to consult with workers about psychosocial hazards. This survey provides documented evidence of that consultation while giving you actionable insights.

03

Management Training

Equip your middle and upper management with practical skills through our training program:

  • Understanding psychosocial wellbeing: What it means and why it matters for construction
  • Benefits and risks: The business case for managing employee wellbeing effectively
  • Recognition and response: Skills to identify issues and respond in compliance with Fair Work and legislative requirements
  • Escalation protocols: When and how to escalate issues to senior management
  • Proactive management: Strategies for identifying and resolving issues early
  • Case scenario evaluation: Real-life scenarios to enhance decision-making skills

Your supervisors and managers are your front line. This training gives them the confidence to act appropriately when issues arise.

04

Counselling Services Access

Through WorkWell Safety's partnership with experienced psychologists, you can offer employees counselling support:

  • Professional psychologists: Experienced practitioners delivering confidential support
  • Flexible delivery: Available in person or via telehealth for convenience
  • Alternative to traditional EAPs: Cost-effective solution without ongoing EAP contract commitments
  • As-needed basis: Engage services when required rather than fixed retainer arrangements

OFSC accreditation requires providing worker access to external mental health professionals. This optional service meets that requirement while managing costs effectively.

What You Get From Psychosocial Risk Management

Documented systems that demonstrate compliance. Practical tools your managers can actually use. Access to professional support when your people need it.

01

Documented Compliance

The Psychological Health Regulations 2025 require documented psychosocial hazard management. You receive management plans, risk assessment tools, and incident frameworks that demonstrate regulatory compliance to WorkSafe Victoria.

02

Equipped Leadership

Your supervisors and managers learn to recognise issues, respond appropriately, and escalate when needed. Practical training—not theory—gives them confidence to handle real situations on site.

03

OFSC & Client Ready

OFSC accreditation requires documented mental health processes and access to external professionals. This service provides both, keeping you compliant for government work and Tier 1 client requirements.
